SUMMARY:October's Monthly Drop-in Group: Grief Recovery Roadmap
DESCRIPTION:Facing a profound loss in your life isn’t easy. No one tells you how to get from point A to point B. \nWhat if you had a roadmap to show you how to navigate grief more consciously? \nWouldn’t it be nice to know that no matter what you’re experiencing along the path of grief\, that you know where you’re headed\, and that you get to decide who you’re going to be when you get there? \nYou don’t always get to choose when you lose someone or something special to you. \nBut you do get a choice about how you respond. \nIn this session we’ll learn how to honour who or what is lost\, while consciously moving into a new reality that brings you clarity\, calm\, and confidence. \nWe’ll explore a yogic perspective about grief and grief recovery to show you the path toward not just ‘coping’ with grief\, but actually integrating it into your very being. \nWhether you’ve lost a loved one\, a pet\, a parent\, a child\, a home\, your health\, you can find your way to a life of joy\, vitality\, and grace. \nPlease note: this group is only available to Ontario residents. \n\n\nRegister \n\n\nMeet the Facilitator \n\n\n\nAndrea Skitch\, MSW\, RSW\, has years of experience in private practice assisting people with a variety of circumstances including loss of a loved one and dealing with chronic illness. Her main approach is relational and holistic. As a certified EMDR practitioner\, she uses a variety of therapeutic approaches to assist clients in moving through painful experiences towards healing.
