DESCRIPTION:Losing a loved one is painful and you are not alone.\nAs part of this in-person group for adults and seniors\, you will have an opportunity to:\n  \nSHARE your grief story in a supportive environment\nDISCUSS emotional\, physical and social aspects of life after loss\nLEARN new coping strategies \nSix consecutive Tuesdays \nJune 9 – July 14\, 2026 \n10:30am – 12:00pm \nLocation: Barbara Frum Library – 20 Covington ∙ Toronto\, ON \nPlease note:\n\nThis group is only available to Ontario residents.\nThis is a closed group and participants are expected to attend all sessions (with reasonable exceptions of course).\nUpon receiving your registration\, you will have a phone call or zoom with one of the facilitators to confirm your registration.\n\nRegister \n____________________________________________________________________________ \nThis program brought to you by Good Grief! Bereavement Healing Services\, a registered charity. \n_____________________________________________________________________________ \nMeet the Facilitators\nEileen Jadd\, MA\, RSW\, has been working for community service organizations in Toronto\, both professionally and as a volunteer for over 30 years. She has a Bachelors of Social Work and and Master of Arts in Communal Service. After the sudden death of her beloved brother-in-law\, she went back to school to earn her certificate in Bereavement Education from the University of Toronto Social Work Continuing Education Department. Along with her sister\, Justine Silver\, Eileen founded the registered charity Good Grief! Bereavement Healing Services and began her role as a group facilitator and Bereavement Educator. She has been focusing her skills and compassion on assisting the underserved grief-stricken population of the GTA. \nJustine Silver\, BSc\, was thrown into the world of grieving after the unexpected passing of her husband several years ago. With the support of family\, friends\, professional and group counselling\, Justine was able to access tools and techniques to help her move forward. She combines these skills\, her Grief Care Professional certificate and professional experience to help others navigate through loss\, creating a welcoming group experience. Justine is passionate about group support as a tool for healing.

Justine is passionate about group support as a tool for healing. \nBrooke Growden\, MEd\, PhD Registered Psychotherapist\, uses a collaborative\, supportive style working with individuals and couples facing anxiety\, depression\, navigating grief\, and relationship struggles. She has completed specialized training with Dr. Kate Truitt on the neuroscience of traumatic grief\, and her goal is to help clients uncover inner strengths and develop new skills.
